Rachel Frislid, 62, was found dead inside her home at 26 Pearl Court in Sayville on Wednesday, September 3, 2026, at approximately 8:30 p.m., according to a press release from the Suffolk County Police Department.
A family member discovered Frislid unconscious inside the residence and contacted authorities. Detectives from the Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad responded and determined she was a victim of violence. The department classified the case as a murder investigation by September 4.
