What Happened
Edison Aguilara, 20, of Patchogue, was killed Saturday morning after his motorcycle collided with a left-turning vehicle at the intersection of Route 112 and Southaven Avenue in Medford, according to a press release from the Suffolk County Police Department. The crash was reported at 6:53 a.m.
Aguilara was operating a 2008 Honda motorcycle northbound on Route 112 when it struck a southbound 2016 Toyota Matrix. The Toyota’s driver was attempting a left turn at Southaven Avenue when the collision occurred.
