What Happened
A woman was struck and killed by a southbound 2011 Hyundai Sonata while crossing Route 110 at Conklin Street in East Farmingdale at approximately 8:30 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2026, according to the Suffolk County Police Department. The woman was walking westbound across Route 110 at the time of impact.
Responding personnel transported her to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow. She was pronounced dead at the hospital. Suffolk County Police have withheld her name pending notification of next of kin.
